ADMISSION REQUIRMENTS

Level 1 :Schools Admission: no ESL assistance as students is expected to be fully incorporated into core curriculum.

  • TOEFL test taken in the United States with a score of 75.
  • ACT test taken in the United States with a 21 composite score.
  • GPA from current high school transcript.
  • Interview at the high school you are applying.
Level II:SCHOOLS Admission: offer ESL assistance to students with minimal ESL needs.
  • English Proficiency Test as designed by the private school consortium.
  • 3.5 GPA from current school transcript
  • Skype interview.
  • Students who do not perform at minimal level on the EPT will be redirected to the one of the school in Level III.
Level III:School Admission: offer full ESL instruction with all course receiving high school credits that transfer to any of the Level II schools.
  • Under 3.4 GPA from current high school transcript.
  • Skype interview that indicates a need for ESL immersion.
  • Low performance on the EPT.
  • Requires a January to August or September to December attendance.
  • Allows admission to a Level II school upon completion of the EPT retake that indicates English proficiency.


Admission Processing;

Step 1

Complete and apply online for the school application and resident application at www.aoredu.us

Step 2

after Amerstate University receives the student application; Amerstate University will send the student application fee and security deposit bank transfer information.

Step 3

after the student has transferred funds, a receipt of the transaction must be sent via mail, fax or e-mail to Amerstate University (info@auusa.org)

Step 4

after Amerstate University has received the students application and confirmed the receipt of fund transfer, the application will be submitted to three partner schools for review. Upon review by each school, if the school has accepted the student, a school will issue the I-20 to prospective student(s).

Step 5

after students receive their I-20, they will then apply for a visa to the USA consulate office in their respective country. If student visa's are not approved, Amerstate will refund the security deposit. Students who receive a visa must apply for enrollment in 30 days or contact to Amerstate University for any reason to delay enrollment.

* Amerstate University's partner schools have a special program for students who lack English proficiency. Students may still gain admission to a middle and high schools and have the TOEFL test waived while attending ESL courses at the Amerstate University ESL special programs.
